The purpose of software is to enable hardware become smarter and easier to use. In recent years, the Business Process Management (BPM) concept is assisting enterprises during the transition to electronic processes by enabling various software tools to intelligently communicate. |
The purpose of enterprises in converting to electronic processes is not unexpectedly to increase productivity, reduce errors, enable forecasts to be more accurate, and lowering costs. But human brains are still more intelligent than computers. How should information from various departments be integrated? For example, when our production line management system discovers there are insufficient materials and more materials need to be purchased, this information is not just restricted to production management, and it also involves financial management and forecasting of customer demand. If too much material has been purchased or that the customer cancels an order when the product is still in production, it would result in idle material, creating more problems for manufacturers. So if a single system can help us simultaneously integrate ERP, CRM, SCM, and KM, wouldn't this make each system more efficient? This is the good news that the BPM is bringing to businesses. |
Taiwan's domestically developed BPM system by AboveE, explains BPM can be designed to match the whole process as envisioned by the enterprise, managing multiple systems and across multiple platforms, to increase the existing system benefits of existing systems used by the enterprise. |
For the most obvious idle material management, utilizing an integrated platform to simultaneously manage orders, production conditions, and material reserves for multiple factories, would enable everyone that needs to be involved when an order is modified to be notified. Also through historical data analysis, it can more accurately predict order situation, and realize the benefits of joint purchasing and reciprocal support among the factories. Currently AboveE has successfully deployed its BPM system into many manufacturers, government departments, and high tech companies, assisting enterprises in increasing the features and synergy of the ERP system. |
